Our Mission
The Slaton Education Foundation was formed to better the lives and education of the students and teachers of Slaton ISD programs and organizations and promote an environment that prepares all students for a successful future.
We Want to Help Your Class
Do you or your class need funding? Apply for a grant to help bring your innovative ideas to life! We want to help your classroom or program gain the tools you need to benefit our students. Our main goal is to help you create a dynamic, and nurturing learning environment where every student can thrive!

WEEKEND SNACK SACK PROGRAM
Started in 2012, the Weekend Snack Sack Program began with a simple goal, to help provide children in Slaton who are in need with snacks and food to get them through the weekends.
Over the years, with generous donations from the community and successful fundraising efforts, the program has continued to grow. As the needs of local families increased, the Weekend Snack Sack Program expanded its support to include basic necessities such as bathing supplies and personal hygiene items.
Recognizing the growing need for additional support and resources, the Weekend Snack Sack Program made the decision to merge with the Slaton Education Foundation in 2026.
Through this merger, the Slaton Education Foundation and the members of the Weekend Snack Sack Program have joined together with a shared commitment, to support our children, strengthen our community, and ensure that our kids have the resources they need to thrive.
